Born in the Netherlands in 1959, Caroline decided in 1987 she needed some adventure and migrated to Australia. After three years of homesickness, she returned to The Netherlands and worked as an arts administrator for the Dutch Arts Foundation where she discovered her passion for the arts. In 1991, she returned to Australia and studied Visual Arts Management and Fine Arts.

She worked for a variety of art galleries and arts organizations as an arts administrator and freelance curator. She now has her own studio/gallery in Balingup and works part-time as an arts consultant and painter/photographer.

She explores figurative work that reflects her feminine side and continues the journey of further delving into the realms of the abstract subconscious using texture and mixed media.
