Born in the island of Mauritius, Danielle Guimbeau
has been living in Australia for over 20 years.
Her paintings reflect a strong tropical influence. The use of
flowers and fruits are typical of Danielle's work. She has been
paintinf since high school, but more seriously since her arrival
in Australia. She first began painting on china while on a farm.
Danielle the applied her skills beyond china painting to flower
arranging, painting on silk and now ceramics.
It has been ceramic painting that has led to her first exhibition
in 1996. This has resulted in her days being busy fulfilling
orders for both individuals and galleries around the Western
Australia and overseas. |
