My abstract images are derived from reality.
They are my perception of the world as I see it, the feelings
and inspiration of a place, the visual and the memories. I
like to work in both 2D [oil on canvas] and 3D [ceramic sculpture],
the cross over of media allowing an exploration of the lines
patterns and texture of the landscape.” I have had a solo
exhibition and also exhibited in numerous group exhibitions
throughout WA.
I have been awarded prizes for both paintings and ceramic
sculpture. A recent highlight was an ArtsWA grant for a Short
Term Artist in Residence at the Peter Cowan Writers Centre,
situated on the Edith Cowan University Joondalup campus. |
