Born and bred Bendigo, Victoria. Spent teen years in the north west of West Australia whereby the vastness of the landscape compelled Karen to paint.

Having won the 1998 Inaugural Burswood Art Award launched Karen's career whereby she has exhibited internationally, nationally & locally.
