Drawing the figure has considerable significance
in Maggies artwork. She is fascinated by the complexity of
its shapes in movement and endless challenges of its form
and the intoxicating dance of line on paper.
Maggie also is drawn to depictions of mood and atmosphere
and the variations of light that weave such special magic
through our lives. The subtlety of tonal values, the arrangement
of light and dark shapes and the boundaries of contrast, are
an integral part of the excitement Maggie derives from her
evolving works.
Maggies art is a an expression of transition and - growth.
It evolves as she extracts more as the result of the perpetual
