Born in Johannesburg , South
Africa , where she lived until emigrating to Australia in
December 1995. Started photographing wildflowers while
living on Skiathos, an island in the Northern Sporades group
between Greece and Turkey , in 1970.
Attended a series of photographic workshops in the Western
Cape , South Africa , between 1992 and 2004. (Several
of these workshops were led by internationally-known Canadian
photographer, Freeman Patterson.) Continues to have
a passion for creating images of nature, both in South Africa
and Western Australia .
