Yaz, of Malaysian -Swiss descent, has been
exhibiting and working in the fine arts since completing her
degree in 1986. She owned her own set building company in
Chicago and has been an Art director for TV commercials for
over 4 years.
She has done numerous custom jobs including sculptures, paint
effects and murals throughout Chicago, Malaysia, New Zealand
and Australia.
She likes to create pieces from things that are discarded
or forgotten such as her last series, "I once was lost,"
which was a serious compilation, with part two of that to
come. She has done several other custom pieces that are highly
decorated and portray a more fun and fantasy style as seen
in her clocks and mirrors.
